    Christopher has over 15 years of experience in physician compensation, valuation and practice management. He currently serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine Savannah Campus. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard Medical School.

    Dr. Senkowski has over 20 years of experience in the areas of coding, valuation and reimbursement. He has served on the legislative committees for SAGES and SSO and has worked in the public policy space as an advisor to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the RAND Group, and the CMS/Acumen MACRA project. 

    He has worked in industry as a consultant in the bundled payment and value based episodic grouper technology arena with Remedy Partners Inc and Signify Health. He currently serves as the American College of Surgeons (ACS) advisor to the AMA/RUC (Relative Value Update) Committee, which is major voice for physician valuation. He also serves as Chair of the ACS coding and reimbursement committee and has authored numerous articles and a textbook on reimbursement for surgeons.

    He completed his general surgery training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and fellowship training in trauma and critical care at the University of Miami.

    With an extensive background in surgical practice development, management, physician contracting, compensation analysis, and human resources, Jessica has a deep understanding of the unique and often complex nature of the business side of medicine. 

    After running a trauma and acute care surgery practice for 10 years, Jessica was inspired to leverage her knowledge and expertise to help physicians and surgeons successfully navigate compensation opportunities and negotiate their value through every stage of their careers.

    Owen Dahl is a nationally recognized medical practice management consultant with more than 48 years’ experience in consulting and managing medical practices. His expertise includes revenue cycle management, strategic planning, organizational behavior and information systems implementation. Dahl is a recognized national speaker on topics such as Lean, revenue cycle, scenario planning, practice operations, change and disaster preparedness. He is the author of such titles as Think Business – Medical Practice Quality, Efficiency, and Profits and The Medical Practice Disaster Guide Book, and coauthored Lean Six Sigma for the Medical Practice. In addition, he writes and contributes articles that appear in MGMA Connection, Medical Economics, Physicians Practice and several other publications. Dahl received his Bachelor’s degree in hospital administration from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and his MBA from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. He has completed doctoral work at NOVA Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

    As Director of Government Affairs, Claire represents MGMA in Washington, D.C. on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues important to medical groups, such as Medicare reimbursement, telehealth, and federal financial assistance programs available to physician practices. In this role, she informs policy makers in Congress and the Administration of the important role group medical practices play in the healthcare system and organizes grassroots campaigns on issues critical to physician practices.
     
    Before joining MGMA, Claire was the Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs at HIDA, the national trade association for medical-surgical distributors. In her role there, Claire developed and maintained the association's regulatory portfolio and represented medical-surgical distributors in front of a variety of federal regulatory agencies on traceability, tariff, and emergency preparedness issues.
     
    Claire earned a law degree from Suffolk University Law School and a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Franklin & Marshall College.
