    Executive Director, Clinical Innovation and Transformation, St. Mary’s Healthcare

    Julie Demaree, PA, MHA, CPHIMS is the Executive Director of Clinical Innovation and Transformation at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, New York. With more than 25 years of clinical and operational experience, Julie collaborates with teams across the organization to leverage technology and optimize the Expanse EMR to improve clinical efficiencies, capture data, and improve quality. Julie frequently claims to be “allergic to inefficiency” and enjoys providing relief for clinicians who feel burdened by the challenges of healthcare technology and workflows.

    Since joining St. Mary’s in July of 2023, Julie’s team has improved provider satisfaction and efficiency that has had a positive impact on retention, recruitment, and reimbursement. Initiatives have included implementation of Suki Ambient Documentation. Julie and her husband live in Providence, NY and she enjoy spending time with their two Labrador retrievers, three adult children and two grandchildren.

    Kamel Sadek, MD
    Director of Informatics, Village Medical

    Dr. Kamel Sadek is a family physician at Village Medical currently directing two medical practices and serving on the National Clinical Outcome Committee for Village Medical. He has also previously served as director of medical informatics for Arizona Chapter, member of the Subspecialty Utilization Committee, and member of the Clinical Outcome Committee for Village Medical. Before Village Medical, Dr. Sadek worked for Integrated Medical Services (IMS), a large multispecialty group, and served on the Medical Executive Committee and Physician Recruitment Committee.

    Dr. Sadek is passionate about medical informatics, implementation of value-based medicine, the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, and standardization of chronic disease management. He has attended and co-hosted several meetings on the use of AI in medical charting.

    Beth Van Gilder, MBA, brings over twenty years of experience in healthcare to her role as Chief Operating Officer for Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners located in Nashville, TN. At Ascension Saint Thomas, she provides strategic and operational leadership for one of Tennessee's largest medical groups, overseeing more than 120 sites of care and 500+ clinicians. Prior to her tenure at Ascension Saint Thomas, Beth served in various leadership positions in Arkansas and Missouri in private practice, for-profit integrated health care delivery and community-owned organizations. Her academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Her diverse experience in independent, for-profit, and community-owned healthcare organizations underscores her commitment to driving innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery.

    Josh Margulies is responsible for Suki's key customer engagements and ensuring their success. In his role, Josh helps customers showcase and share their innovation journeys and experiences with their peers in the industry. Josh is also responsible for managing Suki's user group and customer advocacy program. Josh has held many senior level customer-facing roles at Suki in marketing and customer relations, and he is now part of the ales team. Prior to Suki, Josh was a marketing executive in the NFL and NHL, and leading marketing teams in the healthcare, technology and gaming industry. Josh lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife Livia and three children, Lyla, Luca, and Madeleine.
