    Managing Director, EZ-ERC

    Maxwell Burns, Managing Director at EZ-ERC, is a highly technical CPA with over ten years of public accounting and M&A tax experience. He leads EZ-ERC’s team of tax, payroll and accounting professionals and supervises the entire ERC accounting process from start to finish.

    Along with tenure at KPMG and Alvarez & Marsal, Maxwell previously worked at RSM, a market-leading audit, tax and consulting firm. In this role, he focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, tax advisory and structuring for private equity clients and strategic corporate investors.

    Maxwell received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 2010 and received a master’s degree in accounting (taxation) from Florida State University in 2012. He is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.

    Victoria Beck, Esq. is General Counsel – Regulatory Compliance at EZ-ERC. She brings a unique perspective to her work at EZ-ERC and adds a breadth of experience to our team, helping us take a multidimensional approach when finding the best strategy to help our clients achieve their goals. Advocating for clients as a civil litigator has helped her develop and fine-tune critical thinking and communication skills. Victoria works closely with our clients, understanding their unique challenges and goals. She possesses a strong understanding of the laws and regulations applicable to the broad range of challenges business owners and leaders may face, positioning her to serve our clients’ needs at the highest level. 

    In her previous role as a civil litigator and trial attorney, Victoria appeared before both federal and state courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the New Jersey Superior Court, as well as governmental agencies, the Public Employment Relations Commission and the Office of Administrative Law in New Jersey. She also served as a judicial law clerk for the presiding judge of the Civil Division in the New Jersey Superior Court.

    Victoria received her law degree from Boston College Law School in 2011 and her bachelor of arts from Amherst College in 2007. She is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
