Jonathan Tamir BSBME, MBA, MPH, FACHE, FACMPE, has held senior leadership positions in hospitals, medical schools and stand-alone medical groups. Jonathan has been responsible for strategic planning, business development, finance, clinical operations, revenue cycle, HR, IT and research support.
While most of his experience has been in large academic medical centers, where he managed departments with budgets as large as $500MM, Jonathan has also been CEO and Executive Director of rapidly growing for-profit and not-for-profit medical groups. Jonathan also has significant experience working with medical groups to attract and favorably present themselves to investors.
Jonathan earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and an MBA at Wharton. After Wharton, he was an administrative fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also recently completed an MPH at Columbia University’s Mailman School. Jonathan is an ACHE fellow, an MGMA fellow, and a fellow of the AAPC.
