Beginning Jan. 1, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will implement updates to Medicare physician payment and quality reporting, including several notable updates to reimbursement and value-based initiatives. Join MGMA Government Affairs staff for a preview of what to look for in 2025. Attendees will gain insights about payment and policy changes outlined in the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule. Additionally, the presenters will provide details about Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) reporting requirements, the MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs) implementation timeline, and alternative payment model (APM) participation and reporting options for 2025. The session will conclude with a discussion of MGMA’s advocacy initiatives and an interactive Q&A session with Government Affairs staff.
This 60-minute webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:
- Examine Medicare payment policies in the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule
- Break down MIPS reporting and APM participation options in 2025
- Point out MGMA’s current advocacy priorities and resources available to assist you
